Our Mission
The Guidance Association is a non-profit organisation supporting Békés Doula Circle’s professional work. It conducts research on birth, its social perception, and the history of doulas in Hungary. The association creates educational platforms, promotes professional and civil communities in the field, and collaborates with educational institutions. Its activities span the social, cultural, and educational sectors, aiming to provide evidence-based knowledge and support for expectant parents. Through advocacy and training, it works to enhance the recognition of doula care and improve birth experiences. The organisation also facilitates programs to ensure equal access to childbirth support for all families.
