For more than fifteen years, B\u00e9k\u00e9s D\u00falak\u00f6r has been providing counselling, education, development, assistance, equal opportunities and accessibility, mainly in the fields of social, family and child welfare. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our goal is to make Doula antenatal care and birth attendance a known and respected activity and to provide mothers and families with up-to-date and credible information on birth preparation, a beautiful birth experience for parents and a dignified arrival for babies. We develop important partnerships with health care institutions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The B\u00e9k\u00e9s D\u00falas are birth companions who help mothers and their couples with knowledge, correct information and deep empathy during the months of pregnancy, the hours of labour and birth, as well as during the puerperium. In the first 10 years of its operation, the B\u00e9k\u00e9s D\u00falak\u00f6r provided education for nearly 40 people a year, including self-awareness training and doula education, and then a two-year process culminating in a doula exam.Active members of the D\u00falak\u00f6r regularly attend births in all parts of the country, and we also try to reach out to several rural cities with our events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Studies both abroad and in our country have shown that doula-supported births have significantly fewer complications and interventions, fewer problems with breastfeeding, overall satisfaction with their birth, and lower rates of depression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The doula helps the mother to ensure that if unexpected events or interventions occur during pregnancy or childbirth, the mother or her partner will be given accurate and understandable information. The doula helps communication between the mother and health care staff. The supportive role is all about emotional and physical support and information. The doula group makes helping refugee mothers and mothers a priority. These are services and assistance that the birth couple does not receive in such a complex way from any other birth support provider. A beautiful birth experience is the key to having a child, so it is important to prepare every woman for this special event and accompany her as best we can. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
